Affiliate marketing is selling other peoples products for them, for a particular percentage of the sale, this varies, it could be 4%, and it could be 75%. If you were to sell a book for a company that cost $60 and the commission rate was 75%, you would receive $45. This is a way many people make a living online.

Here are a list of affiliate programs to consider joining, if this is the route you wish to take:

Clickbank is the largest network for digital products, products that do not need to be shipped, the % you get in commissions is very high here, ranging from 40-75% in some products. This is a must join if you want to make money as an affiliate.

Amazon gives a lower % in commission, but the products are worth more, so it evens out, this is a must join too, there are hundreds of thousands of products to pick from.

Similar to Amazon, you promote any product for eBay, whether it be Nintendo WII, Playstation 2, a book on gardening, anything, this is a great way to be an affiliate as there are so many products to choose from.

Google Adsense is used amongst website owners, you place ads related to the content displayed on your webpage, each time a visitor clicks on an ad, you receive a set amount, from $0.10 to $2.00, and it can be higher for some ads. If you are thinking about making a website, be sure to sign up with Adsense.

1.     What is it that you expect from any affiliate network?  An affiliate network can be a large group or just a small one.  But as the saying goes, large groups can make your network strong so, you may settle for it.  It’s your choice.

2.     How much amount of money do you expect from an affiliate network? It is expected that most people join in for money.  There are other benefits you can get in joining affiliate networks but needless to say, most people only join these networks in consideration of the network’s offer for money.  So, in order not to be disappointed in the long run, you need to determine how much money you want from the affiliate network of your choice.

3.     Can you spend so much of your time with the affiliate network? A very important question.  Joining an affiliate network requires most of your valuable time.  And determining how committed you are can make things work well.  It can benefit you, too.  With your time spent with the network, you can see how things are going.

4.     Are you willing to invest money with the affiliate network? It is important to determine how much money you can spend for the affiliate network of your choice.  Of course, you need to spend in order to earn.  In any affiliate network, costs and expenses are always there. It may be for shipping cost of your product, membership dues, website maintenance and other overhead expenses. So, you as a member need to invest.  How much can you invest then?

5.     Which product or service do you offer as an affiliate member? With so much competition in the market, many affiliate networks failed because of lack of appropriate investments.  Joining any affiliate network entail a great trust on the network and fully knowing well which product or service you are intending to offer.

Having answered successfully to the above questions, you are now ready to make up your mind which affiliate network to join in.  However, if you are still having doubts about it, you can continue making research and taking a closer look and study the search results to be able to limit your choices and finally come up with the best one.  Good luck!

The $100k Blogging Formula

I’ve crossed the $100k mark, after only a year and a half of serious online work, and the DP community has helped me to do it. Now I want to give back by providing all of you with the method. I believe that this won’t hurt my business, as there are more than enough niches out there for all of us.

1 – Create an obscure subdomain of a site you already own (no need to spend money). Make the name very hard to guess (like “gghhsstrte33vcvcst16.yourdomain.com”

2 – Create a robots.txt to prevent the secret domain from being indexed by any search engines.

3- Get a PLR article pack, with at least 1000 articles spread across 10 or more niches.

4- Get a PLR Spinner app (Google it, they all do the same thing really) and spin them all.

5- Install WordPress on your secret site (mentioned in step 1)

6- Create categories for all of your niches

7- Add the spun articles to each category

8- create 10 subdomains (one for each niche) and name them for that niche. (i.e. Book-lovers.yourdomain.com, Car-enthusiast-blog.yourdomain.com)

9- Install WordPress on all of these and customize them as you see fit.

10- Install the FeedWordPress plugin to each, and set it to grab only 1 article at a time, once per day, and to link the posts to the local site (not the source site)

11- Install the WP-Autotagger plugin to each

12- Install any signature plugin (to add a backlink to your blog within each post) and set it to add the signature by default

13- Add your niche blogs to all major search engines

14- Pay a small fee to add your niche blogs to at leas 1 PR4 directory each

15- Find a copy of RSSAnnouncer to add your niche blog RSS feeds to the major RSS directories

16- Monetize your niche blogs (Adsense, Kontera, etc)

17- install a keyword context link plugin (to link certain keywords automatically to affiliate sites of your choice)

18- Get headshots of attractive people from any royalty-free source

19- Setup a twitter account for each blog and add one of the headshots obtained in step 18 to each

20- Install the twitter plugin to each blog and set it to update the twitter account associated to the niche blog

21- Sit back and watch the money flow in.

22- Every couple of months add more PLR articles to the appropriate categories of your hidden blog.

23- Every month log into each twitter account and follow at least 100 new people (there will probably be an application available within the next year to do this automatically)

I hope this helps all of you make lots of money with blogs. As I said, there are enough niches out there that I feel perfectly comfortable sharing this info.
